ABH Partners Appointed as Super-Agent for Ethiopia’s Fayda National ID Program to Accelerate Digital Transformation
In a landmark development for the nation's digital landscape, ABH Partners has officially been appointed as a Super-Agent for Ethiopia’s Fayda National ID Program (NIDP) following a rigorous international bidding process.
To mark this historic milestone, an official signing ceremony was held at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, bringing together ABH Partners Chief Executive Officer Dr. Markos Feleke and Fayda National ID Program Executive Director Mr. Yodahe Zemichael to formally cement a shared commitment to Ethiopia's digital evolution.
Under the guiding principle that "Identity is the New Collateral", ABH Partners will lead the implementation of secure, high-quality, and citizen-centered digital identity registration services built on absolute integrity, professional expertise, and operational excellence.
ABH Partners aims to register millions of Ethiopian citizens over the project period, serving as a critical catalyst in the country's broader digital transformation and inclusive development agenda. By facilitating secure and accessible registration, the initiative directly supports the government's objective to enhance access to essential public and private services for millions.
Registration services will be deployed across the following regions:
- City Administrations: Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa
- Oromia Regional State: Sheger City Administration, as well as East and West Hararghe Zones
- National Regional States: Harari, Somali, Gambella, and Benishangul-Gumuz
With the Fayda National ID Program having already surpassed 46 million registrations nationwide and integrated with over 165 institutions, this new partnership with ABH Partners arrives at a crucial moment to accelerate universal enrollment, further driving economic inclusion and seamless access to vital public and private services across Ethiopia.
