Bringing Your Program to Reality !"

Alliance Program Management

We design and implement high-quality, cost-effective programs that address the most pressing societal challenges while simultaneously driving economic growth. Our programs are carefully aligned with both national and global priorities, ensuring that they meet the current and future needs of industries, governments, and communities.

What We Do?

Areas of Focus

ABH’s program focuses on addressing major public health challenges and priority health programs in Ethiopia, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals and the national health policy. The key program areas include:

  • Maternal, Neonatal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MNCAH): including early childhood development and child survival programs.
  • Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) particularly the preventive, promotive, and curative aspects of the major NCDs
  • Nutrition and food security including humanitarian and development nutrition programs
  • Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases such as malaria, TB, HIV, and other epidemic-prone diseases. ABH promotes the One Health Approach to prevent and control public health emergencies and epidemics
  • Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) which is the major determinant of morbidity.
  • Digital health and data for action will be cross-cutting for ABH’s research.

Mission

ABH is committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective health and health-related programs in Ethiopia and beyond through strategic public-private partnerships.

Vision

ABH aspires to be the leading private organization in Ethiopia for designing and implementing equitable, high-quality, and cost-effective health and health-related programs..

Main Projects Accomplished

ABH Partners, with support from USAID, implemented the Private Sector Immunization Service (PSIS) in 40 private health facilities to enhance vaccine access and uptake in Ethiopia. The project has played a crucial role in strengthening the private health system by improving vaccine cold chain equipment (CCE), integrating digital health solutions, and expanding access to vaccines. Through PSIS, ABH has identified best practices and key challenges in engaging private health facilities in the national immunization framework. The initiative has demonstrated the potential of leveraging the private sector to complement public immunization efforts, ensuring broader vaccine coverage and sustainability.

Building on the success of the pilot phase, ABH plans to scale up PSIS nationwide, working closely with policymakers, healthcare providers, and development partners to further integrate private sector immunization services into Ethiopia’s broader health system.
