Training on Community Based Nutrition (CBN), Community Health Days (CHD) and Outpatient Therapeutic Program (OTP) in 20 Weredas of Oromia Regional State March 2011 – July 2011. Description: The major objective of this assignment was to manage the entire initial training package on CBN, CHD and OTP roll-out in newly selected 20 Weredas in Oromia, which includes: Managing and conducting the Master training, Training to Trainers (TOT) for Health Workers and HEW’s and Supportive supervision of training of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Limited Kebeles. Through the course of the different levels of trainings, ABH managed all logistic and administrative issues, including renting training halls, arranging refreshment and lunch to participants, paying per diem and other reimbursable on top of recruiting and assigning trainers/facilitators. ABH managed to train 958 health Extension Workers (HEWs) and 40 Master Trainers in less than three months.
